MicroTelligent is dedicated to innovation in the trading sector.

TJ has been a computer guru since the early 1980s - including a spell as Technical Services Director for a multinational PC Networking company. He was part of a pioneering team developing voice recognition systems in the early 80s. TJ holds patents for encryption processes in use by leading European government agencies.

He has been trading privately for almost 15 years.

When Direct Access trading came on line, opening possibilities of genuine mechanical-based systems or rule sets, TJ married his IT expertise with his passion for trading. His vision was a software platform that would convert trading strategies into systems-based solutions - with the added benefits of automated optimisation, plus the capability of back-testing in hours or even minutes, instead of months or years.

The first system to be converted was Ryan Jones's strategy, first outlined in his book 'The Trading Game'. Next came Camarilla, developed by Nick Stott in 1989 and David Graeme-Smith's Short Swing Trading strategy (see our case-studies) The latest system to be given the MicroTelligent treatment is Avi Fristers Forex Trading system for Fellow Traders.
